You can now access the practice via our Online Consultation Service. This service triages your request using a series of questions and guides you on what to do next. We will respond to you within 48 hours during opening times.
You can use the Online Consultation Service -
- to request repeat sick notes, recent test results or any other admin related query;
- Tell us about a new or ongoing medical problem and request an appointment.
Medical requests are triaged by a clinician who will advise on the best course of action and this may involve an appointment. To use the Online Consultation Service, please click the link opposite.

Extended access
Home visits
If possible please try to telephone reception before 10:30am if you need a home visit.
A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send one of our nurses or paramedics, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.
House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.
Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the practice.
Your appointment
However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:
- by phone
- face to face at the practice
- on a video call
- by text or email
Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means you get help sooner.
Cancelling or changing an appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment please let us know as soon as possible (preferably with 24 hours notice) so that your appointment can be offered to another patient.
If you repeatedly miss your appointment then you may have a letter of caution sent to you and you may be asked to register elsewhere.

- using the GP online system via the link at the top of this page
- phone us on 01952 630500, Monday to Friday from 8am. You can select the option to leave a message to cancel an appointment.
- reply CANCEL to your appointment reminder text message
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or Call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
If you need help with your appointment
Please tell us:
- if there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer
- if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email
- if you need an interpreter
- if you have any other access or communication needs
