All consultations are by appointment and are available from 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday. You can book by telephoning or calling in at reception. Only one patient can be seen at one appointment – please make an appointment for each member of the family who needs to be seen.

A routine appointment slot is for 10 minutes - if you require a double appointment please ask the receptionist.

All non GP appointments may be booked up to four weeks ahead. To book an appointment Patients may ring the surgery after 08:00 each morning. Due to the current situation, our practice will no longer be making appointments at reception.

If you need to book an appointment (telephone triage calls ONLY at present), Please ring the practice on 01952 630500.

You may consult who you wish but it is preferable to stay with one doctor for each particular problem.  Please remember to cancel any appointment that you cannot attend.  If you arrive to see a doctor without an appointment you may not be seen, unless it is an emergency.  If you arrive late for an appointment it may not be possible for you to be seen and an alternative appointment will be offered

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly.  Practice nurses also to deliever a wide range of chronic disease management, clinics and reviews including asthma, COPD, diabetes, rheumatlogy and vascular.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.

Not attending appointments is a waste of NHS resources. Repeated non-attendees will receive a letter of caution and may result in being asked to register elsewhere

Failure to attend appointments:-

Patients are asked to inform us with 24 hours notice if possible, if they are unable to attend so the appointment can be offered to another patient.
